Why is Faqir Chand’s experiences important in understanding the projective nature of religious visions and miracles?
Understanding Faquir Chands experiences is important in understanding the nature of visions and religions because
It helps us understand that when we encounter religious visions or miracles it is based on what is occurring to us in our lives. From the text ‘Unknowing Saga’ Faquir states, “All manifestations visions and forms that are seen within our mental (illusory) creations.” It is important because he gives us an explanation as to why miracles occur within our own lives.
What is meant by the phrase, "philosophy done well is science; philosophy done poorly remains philosophy.
Just because a person knows something doesn’t make them smart they have to know how to put that information to play to be validated.
Good science starts with a question a theory and is researched, analyzed, observed and experimented. Science is a “systematically organized body of knowledge on a particular subject.” Philosophy is a love of knowledge and wisdom. It is the study of knowledge, of our existence and reality. If a philosopher talks about a certain subject but doesn’t have the accurate information and is basing his theory based on someone else’s theory is a fool. He is a lazy philosopher and what he teaches is poor and uneducated. A philosopher that questions about a certain subject and collects his own research and observes every option available to him to gain an answer for his question is a wise philosopher just like a good scientist. A theory that can be based on facts and good research can make a new discovery or a philosophy breakthrough. A theory that isn’t researched eventually becomes lost with other theories and will get replaced by a new idea or theory.
